This afternoon, we had a fabulous time hosting our French market. Families enjoyed tasting a delicious range of French cuisine, with the snails proving to be a particular highlight!

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr Price for organising this much-loved community event, to the families who generously helped, and to everyone who joined us and made the afternoon such a success.

Yr4 Visitor

Year 4 were delighted to welcome Isla Pain into school last week. Her visit was linked to their PSHE learning focusing on Hopes, Dreams and Resilience. Isla, a former pupil, continues to achieve and succeed at a very high level, and we are incredibly proud that she has recently been selected to represent England in the heptathlon - a truly outstanding achievement.

During her visit, Isla shared her inspirational journey, signed autographs, and even joined the class for a run around the track. It was a memorable and motivating experience for everyone involved.

Teacher / Family Meetings

IMPORTANT CHANGES: Please read carefully:

After feedback from last term's meetings, we have made some changes to our family meetings for this term.  Feedback indicated that a mix of in-person and online are still desired by our families.

However, more in-person meetings were requested. Therefore, we have split Wednesday's session to provide online meetings at the beginning of the evening and more in-person meetings later on.

2 options will show in Edulink One - please ensure you click the right one, as the type of meeting can not be changed on the day.

In-Person Teacher / Family Meetings at school:

Tuesday 10th February - 3.30pm to 6.20pm &
Wednesday 11th February - 5.00pm to 6.20pm

Online Teacher / Family Meetings:

Wednesday 11th February - 3.30pm to 4.40pm

We are very pleased to announce that each video call can involve up to 2 parents/guardians at different locations.  The parent listed as contact 1 will receive the notification and then needs to invite parent 2.

Each child can only have one appointment over the 2 days, unless arranged with the school office.

Nursery Appointments are only available on Wednesday 11th Feb.

Bookings will open on Monday the 26th January at 7pm on Edulink One.

Data Check

Have you moved, does your child have a new health or dietary need, or would you like to add a person to your child's list authorised people able to collect?

Please log onto Edulink One to check and update your and your children's data if required.

Log in and go to 'UPDATE INFORMATION', then on a mobile phone click the 2 arrows by your name to access your children's accounts.

Dunalley School Council

School Council

The School Council meet with Mrs Godfrey every Friday after school.

This week they have discussed raising money for a charity and decided that during the summer term we would like to host an art exhibition. This worked well last year with Lions at Large.

We need to agree on the charity and the theme of the exhibition. We would like the theme to inspire artists of all ages and feel that it would be good for the theme to have some link to the charity.

We came up with the idea of raising money for The British Heart Foundation and having a 'Heart Art' exhibition linked to this.

Please send any ideas in with your children on Monday as the children will vote during assembly next week.
