Music at Dunalley Primary School

At Dunalley, we believe that music is for everyone.

Using the Sing Up scheme, we provide a rich and inclusive music curriculum that helps every child find joy and confidence through singing and music-making.

Singing lies at the heart of our school life — from classroom learning to assemblies and performances — creating a strong sense of community and belonging.

Through Sing Up’s engaging, progressive programme, children develop their musical understanding, creativity, and performance skills while exploring a wide range of musical styles and cultures.

We aim to nurture a lifelong love of music, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to express themselves, work collaboratively, and experience the power of music to bring people together.

At Dunalley, we also offer a range of additional opportunities for children, all can join our choirs who regularly perform in a variety of events in the local community as well as specialist instrumental tuition from peripatetic teachers.
