    Teaching Partners

    Pre-school Practitioner

    A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an outstanding professional to join our nursery team.

    As a successful early year’s practitioner, the successful candidate will play a key role supporting the healthy growth and development of our children.

    Child & Family Support Worker 

    We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to join our fantastic team at Dunalley.

    Nestled in the heart of Cheltenham, Dunalley Primary School is a nurturing, community-focused school with a passion for our beautiful outdoor spaces and wider environmental issues.

    Always seeking to innovate and improve our practices, this is an exciting time to join Dunalley as we continue to develop and embed our vision for inclusion and wellbeing of children and families. 

    We welcome applications from candidates who:

    • will act as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and take a leading role in liaising with services for the good of children
    • will establish, build and maintain constructive and productive relationships with families
    • act as a point of contact for families in need of support and provide or secure it by liaising with outside agencies and making referrals where necessary
    • engage with the families of identified children to develop a robust understanding of their needs and enhance partnership and collaboration.
    • enhance the mental health and social and emotional wellbeing of identified children by providing personalised support and intervention.

     

     

     

    OPAL Play Partners

    We are seeking to recruit additional members to our team of dynamic Play Partners who will support meaningful and productive child-initiated play during our lunch times at Dunalley Primary School.

    This is a fabulous opportunity to join our team here at Dunalley as we implement a new, whole school play initiative.

    Nestled in the heart of Cheltenham, Dunalley Primary School is a nurturing, community-focused school with a passion for our beautiful outdoor spaces and wider environmental issues.

    Always seeking to innovate and improve our practices, this is an exciting time to join Dunalley as we continue to develop our school site including our wonderful outdoor spaces.

    The successful candidates will work closely with the OPAL Play Coordinator, other lunch time staff and members of the Senior Leadership team to facilitate play opportunities to embed play into the school’s lunchtime period. They will eensure that all our children have a meaningful lunchtime play every day by creating a safe and stimulating outdoor environment providing social, active and creative play experiences.

     

     

     

     

    Midday Supervisor – Lunch Hall

    Thank you for your interest in this post. We are seeking a new member to join our friendly lunchtime team working as a Midday Supervisor in our lunch hall. 

    Working as part of the lunchtime team, inspiring, motivating and leading by example, making a significant contribution to the continued improvement of lunchtime provision for the children. Ensuring that all our children have a meaningful lunchtime by creating a safe and pleasant eating experience whilst maximising the time they can spend at play.    

    Members of the lunchtime team support children as they visit the dining hall and are responsible for clearing and cleaning the hall to a very good level during lunchtime and ensuring that the hall is ready for school use, such as PE lessons and assemblies each afternoon.   

    The post holder will have an important role in working directly with our children alongside other members of the lunchtime team under the general direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor, directed by the Senior Leadership Team who lead the strategic direction of the school.   

    Working with children requires stamina and resourcefulness.  This post will require physical effort.
