We are delighted to be welcoming your children to Dunalley in September.
   
Having contacted preschools and met the majority of your children, we are pleased to let you know that your child will be in RU with Mrs Buckley in September.  

As you know, your child will be starting school on a part-time basis.  Your child has been allocated either a morning or afternoon session (highlighted in your email) that starts at 9.00am and finishes at 11.30am or starts at 12.30pm and finishes at 3.00pm.   

The first day for our new reception children will be Thursday 3rd September.   

We plan for all children to start on a full-time basis from Monday 7th September when the school day will run from 8.40am to 3.10pm.

Drop off/pick up point: Please enter the school site via the EYFS field entrance.  At drop off your child will be met at the door.  Pick up is through the main entrance on the playground.

2nd September - 3rd September:

Our new Reception children start on a reduced timetable to help them settle in. Please attend the session i.e. AM or PM, as allocated in the email.  Due to ratios, we are unable to change this allocation. Your child will be met by our staff and will be required to walk into school on their own. 

AM: 8.40-11.15am

PM: 12.15-3.10pm

No lunch is provided at this time.

7th September onwards:

Provided your child is ready, they will start school full time.

Drop off time: 8.40 am 

Collection time: 3.10 pm

Lunch: Your child can order a hot school meal (provided for FREE by the Government) from home using SchoolGrid. 
Log-in details will be sent once they start school.

Earlies & Lates: Booking forms have now been received, and allocations confirmed.

School Uniform:

• Brown jumper with school logo or brown cardigan with school logo 
• White polo shirt 
• Black jogging bottoms, black leggings or black PE shorts (no patterns) 
• Black trainers (plain) 
• Wellies (to be left at school) 
• Bookbag with school logo  
• Green fleece with school logo (this is optional and is to be worn over a brown jumper or cardigan) 
• Waterproof coat and trousers in a bag please
• ALL ITEMS MUST BE NAMED!

This uniform is to be worn every day. Pupils in Reception do not change for PE.
