Welcome Back to the Summer Term in Nursery.

We have a busy but really exciting couple of terms ahead before your children begin their next adventure of starting Preschool in September.

Further information about all the things we will be covering this term, which are based around the 7 areas of development is set out at the end of this page.

The Prime Areas include

• Personal, Social and Emotional Development
• Communication and Language
• Physical Development

The Specific Areas include

• Numeracy
• Literacy
• Understanding the World
• Expressive Arts and Design

I hope the PowerPoint gives you a glimpse into all the wonderful things your children will be learning over the coming term.

There are also some dates for the diary there as well to keep in mind.

As the summer weather is fast approaching, please can I ask your children to come to the nursery with sun cream applied and bring along a named sun hat or cap (preferably one with a neck protector, but this is optional).

As I have said before, we can’t wait to continue helping your children to develop and flourish during the next two terms, along with celebrating all the incredible things they have achieved so far this year and all the things they will continue to learn and achieve.
