At Dunalley, we are committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive. To help us achieve this, we receive additional government funding known as Pupil Premium.
This funding is specifically aimed at improving outcomes for pupils who may face barriers to learning due to economic disadvantage. Research shows that these children often face extra challenges reaching their full potential, and the Pupil Premium helps us provide targeted support where it’s needed most.

In addition, we received a one-off Catch-Up Premium in the 2020–2021 academic year to help all pupils recover lost learning time following school closures. Details of how this funding was used are included in the report below.
